Christmas Eve Mo:MO Party

On 24th December, 2010 Interact Club of Jawalakhel organized a MO:MO party on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. 24 Members participated in the program. The program was organized with the motto to increase fellowship between all members and to celebrate the Christmas eve. There were 3 guests at the program who help's us to know the real meaning of Christmas. The program was of an hour but all the members enjoyed the mo:mo with the company of their fellow Interactor friends.

Sinamangal-Green Belt Cleaning Program

On 11th December, 2010 Interact club of Jawalakhel participated on green belt cleaning program on Sinamangal. This program was conducted by INTERACT DISTRICT COUNCIL-3292(NEPAL).
It is Preserve Planet Earth campaign of IDC- 3292. 15 Members had particapited in the program. The program was coordinated by DICC ( District Interact Committee Chairperson) -Rtn. Jenny Vaidya . The volunteers serves for 2 hours with out caring the heat and the dust. The members had enjoyed a lot doing volunteering activities although there was difficulty of cutting those dried Bushes. This program has also help to raise awareness to the public that every one should put their efforts to keep the surrounding clean. Since, Sinamangal is located near the International Airport which is the only entry point of Nepal from abroad so it has also contributed for the Nepal Tourism Year- 2011.

This program has been running every Saturday at Sinamangal through the co-ordination of IDC- Nepal with the volunteers of different Interact Clubs of Nepal. This short of program has made us all proud to be Interactors of Nepal.

Volunteering Programme at KRISHNA MANDIR

On 1st September,2010(KRISHNA JANASTAMI) Interact club of Jawalakhel organized a volunteering programme at Krishna Mandir on the coordination of Itr. Saurav Regmi.
There were only 12 volunteers participated on the programme due to limited no. of passes. The volunteers serves for almost 6 hours with out caring the heat and the rain from 9:30 a.m-2:30 p.m. The Volunters are Itr. Saurav Regmi, Itr.Suraj Bikram Thapa, Itr.Subash Bishwakarma, Itr.Deepu Maharjan, Itr.Rena Moktan, Itr. Ajay Gurung, Itr.Robin Thapa, Itr. Pravin Thapa, Itr.Siddhi Kiran, Itr. Dig Bijaya Shakya, Itr. Meghna Shakya and Itr.Bhaviswor Gurung. This is the first event of the club and frist Community Service Programme for the Rota Year 2010-11 since, the club has Just started its new Tennure only before 16 days ago.The Pictures below shows some highlights of the programme.

3rd Installation Ceremony

Interact club of Jawalakhel has proceed to its 4th Year. On 14th August, 2010 it has organized its 3rd Installation Ceremony at Future Stars high school hall, Jawalakhel.
Itr. Subash Bishwakarma hand over the Collar, Hamber& Gamble and Charter Certificate to Newly Installed President Itr. Suraj Bikram Thapa. The chief Guest for the event was Rtn. Ravi Raj Thapa, President Elect for 2011-12 Rotary Club of Jawalakhel. The awards were given to Itr. Rena Moktan as Most Active Member, Itr. Saurav Regmi as Best Programme Coordinator and Itr. Drishya B.K as Highest Attendance. There were 27 Members, 6 Rotractors and 2 Rotarians. I also like to wish Itr. Suraj Bikram Thapa, President for 2010-11 to have sucessful tenure.
